Fear and Faith
Fear is a thief; faith is a rewarder. Fear questions and retreats; faith takes the things God has promised and moves forward. Fear lets the inheritance we have in Christ go unclaimed; faith takes hold of its possessions. Fear quivers; faith fights. Fear says, "later"; fatih says, "now." Fear is defeat; faith is victory. Fear tears us down; faith moves us up. Fear says, "how?"; faith says, "God!"
Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged. Deuteronomy 1:21

By fear, we are overcome. By faith, we are overcomers!

Roy - thank you for stepping out in faith and co-founding Dayspring. I'm sure it has been difficult at times, and still very rewarding. I will pray for God to continue to bless your ministry. I will also pray for angels of protection for you, your loved ones, and your co-workers. Continue to run the good race my friend. Your work for God is impacting many lives.
Regards,
Diane & Pastor Steve (in thought) Rumley

October 29th would have been my 32nd anniversary. A lifetime of love and living, lost in one profound moment in time. I can't undo the years we lived. I can right no wrongs. Yesterday belongs to the ages. Now I can only move forward in faith. When I reach to the empty spot in our bed, I am almost overwhelmed with grief, with fear. What will tomorrow hold for me now that I have lost the light of my days? Then God assures me he alone is the light that leads and guides. My husband loved me as Christ loved the church. That means he followed Christ. That same spirit, the Holy Spirit, will now guide me. There is no fear, no worry when I remember his word. (Thank you Father.)
Thank you Mr Lessin for your words of wisdom. I make it a point to buy your work when my budget allows. I need to surround myself with God's word. It gives me true peace and comfort.
