Fret busters #21 and #22

Fret buster #21:

We need sanctified imaginations. It is easy for any of us to fret and have our imaginations run wild. In reality, most things don’t happen the way we imagined them. 

Fret buster #22:

The Bible says, “The just shall live by faith.” It doesn’t say, “The just shall live by their imaginations.” The Word of God builds your faith; your imagination can be a fast track to worry. Worry says, “What will happen to me, things seem out of control.” Faith says, “My life is in God’s hands and He is in control.”

Wisdom

O Lord, how manifold are Thy works! in wisdom hast Thou made them all: the earth is full of Thy riches. - Psalm 104:24 kjv

God is wise. Everything He does for you is done in wisdom. Every decision He makes on your behalf is done in wisdom.

God has perfect wisdom, which means that it is impossible for Him to make a mistake…. God’s wisdom is complete. He never gains wisdom or grows in wisdom, because He has all wisdom.

God’s hands are more skilled than a great surgeon;
They are more assuring than a caring nurse;
They are more precise than a fine diamond cutter;
They are more creative than the finest artist or designer.

God’s wisdom…means that He works in very practical ways in your life.
God is your wise mentor, your practical helper, and your patient instructor.

Humility

Those who walk before God in humility are:

Weak enough to lean upon His strength;
Small enough to look upon His greatness;
Patient enough to wait upon His timing;
Empty enough to draw upon His fullness;
Poor enough to depend upon His riches;
Needy enough to count upon His grace.
