Christ in You, You in Christ

God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and He gave Himself to purchase our freedom.

For it has pleased God to tell His people that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in His glory.

As a child of God, you are in Christ and He is in you. Each is significant in the following ways:

Being in Christ means that you receive the benefits of all that He has done for you through His death, burial, resurrection and ascension;
Christ being in you means that you receive the benefits of His presence, His character and His nature within you.

Being in Christ changes your position before God;
Christ being in you changes the inward condition of your heart.

Being in Christ brings you into heavenly realities;
Christ being in you brings heavenly realities into your earthly walk.

Being in Christ opens your eyes to the beauty of God’s love;
Christ being in you floods your heart with that same love.

Being in Christ allows you to see what God wants you to become;
Christ being in you means that you can become what God wants you to be.

Being in Christ means that He is the atmosphere in which you live your day;
Christ being in you means that each day His strength is your strength, His peace is your peace, His power is your power, His victory is your victory, His life is your life.

i had only 12 hours notice before preaching in our church yesterday and was given a message from god about the struggle the christian has with sin.--romans 7--and what it means to be freed from "this body of sin and death"just before going to bed at 2-30am i opened my computer to check my days email and i found your reference to meet me in the meadow.The references to 1 CORINTHIANS 1v30 and Colossians 1v27 followed by "Being in Christ and Christ being in you" it was the perfect conclusion to what i felt god wanted me to share and god really blessed his word with at least one person responding to the invitation to "invite Christ in for the first time"God never ceases to amaze me by the way he has just the right word for us in the right place at the right time and he knows where we will look.What a wonderful God we serve.

I spend my Tuesday's recently as a day of ministry blessing to a long time friend who this year became associate pastor of a new church plant. The blessing is a two way street, but I was tired, and although I have a great deal of work to do for my own business, I went to bed early only to wake up at 10pm from a nightmere. I felt it was a spiritual attack, but had a phone call come in and so got on line to check email while I talked to my daughter. I had just decided to get off-line and pray when I saw the Dayspring email. It is my usual practice to ignore those emails until I have time to look at them. However, I clicked on it and read your Christ in You, You in Christ excerpt and had to follow the link. THANK YOU. My company is made of of Christians and we have a large publishing project we are getting off the ground and I 99% of the time start and end my day with reading the WORD and seeking the LORD's guidance. When I was tired I simply went to bed praying for my team and issues we are facing with the release of our first book. My prayer was seeking Him on how do I pray against the spiritual warfare effectively! I know God did not give me the bad dream, but He used the opportunity to answer my prayer. Reading your entry for today's "Meet Me In The Meadow", I was so brought to see what I know God wants in His "if you remain in Me, and I remain in you" command. We can only be effective and fully under His covering when we live these verses out in our lives, and the enemy is always looking for any opening, any crack to insert his chaos and destruction. Just wanted to say thank you for letting God use you to speak to me when I was praying for answers to so many issues.
